we’re back from baltimore acc!

i got back this week from doing the baltimore acc show.  what a great show!  baltimore was super supportive.  i sold several really great pieces and met some really cool people.  i shared a room with my good friend serena who also did the show and we had a great time together.  i would post pictures except that someone stole our camera………  next time.

one great thing about baltimore is that there’s a bounty of old bay spice in every restaurant, what doesn’t old bay taste good on?  downside to baltimore is that it seems like everyone smokes.  baltimore could really stand to have a major anti smoking campaign.

the american craft council is actively looking for new designer/maker people.  i highly recommend this show and urge people to apply if they have not done so.  the crowd is highly educated in art, craft and design.  people in my opinion were buying in full force and really seemed to be looking forward to this show.   here’s a link to the craft councils website:  american craft council

Baltimore American Craft Council Show Feb 24th – 27th

I’m starting off the year with trying new things, professionally speaking.  My goal is to participate and make a living selling our work to the retail public through high end juried fine art and craft shows.  Jay and I have decided to take a break from wholesale and focus on our collectors and hopefully create some new collectors and fans in the process.  Our first show of the year is the Baltimore American Craft Council show.  Four days of retail sound very exciting to me.  Check out the link above.
