Call to Artists-Designers-Jewelers-Woodworkers & Metal Smiths!

Kiln Community currently has approximately five slots available for monthly studio space.  Unlimited monthly studio space gives you access to ALL of our tools & equipment (it’s like the holy grail of tools)  as well as full access to both of our locations.

Our primary studio is set up for jewelry, ceramic artists, welders, wood turners, metal spinners, sculptors, silk screeners and enamelists.  Our second location is set up for fine woodworking, welding, sculpture, furniture making and large scale projects.  Currently our studio mates are producing jewelry orders for Barney’s New York & Brooklyn Adorned.  As well as custom fabrication for major artists.  We have metal sculptures and fine woodworkers.  Some pretty amazing cake stands were produced here this past week for the Food Network.

Jay and I give tours of our studios seven days a week.  If you like being around a great community of gifted and talented creators and thrive off that vibe then our studio is perfect for you.  We also own an amazing hummus restaurant next door.  We have a very friendly cat named PP and the most magical five year old son named Cougar.  Jay also offers private instruction and classes and I make really good coffee.

Located off the Grand and Montrose stops on the L Train in Brooklyn, NY.  Email to set up an appointment get rates and set up a tour.  ehlin.elissa@gmail.com or jleritz22@yahoo.com

Baltimore American Craft Council Show Feb 24th – 27th

I’m starting off the year with trying new things, professionally speaking.  My goal is to participate and make a living selling our work to the retail public through high end juried fine art and craft shows.  Jay and I have decided to take a break from wholesale and focus on our collectors and hopefully create some new collectors and fans in the process.  Our first show of the year is the Baltimore American Craft Council show.  Four days of retail sound very exciting to me.  Check out the link above.
